Burton's Cafe

A Southern Illinois tradition since 1945. Customers have enjoyed good, old-fashioned, country favorites, along with our famous "White Pie" for over 50 years. Originating out of a cattle auction barn, Blake & Ruth Burton began serving hamburgers and raisin pie in a converted scale house called the Sugar Bowl. The current cafe was built in 1953. The Jones' purchased it in 1978, with the 3rd generation operating it currently.
